England Deaf National Team Fixture
Thursday 22nd of June 2023
North Ferriby Football Club are both delighted and privileged to announce we will be hosting a friendly against the England Deaf Men National Team.
The game will take place on Saturday 22 July with a 3.00pm kick off at The Dransfield Stadium and forms part of the England teams preparations ahead of jetting off to compete in the World Deaf Football Championships in Malaysia during September.
Les Hare, North Ferriby Chairman, said: "It is such an incredible privilege to be given this opportunity to showcase a full National Team, and in particular, raise the profile of football for those with a hearing disability. Accordingly, we will make the fixture as inclusive and affordable as possible with admission prices of just £5 for adults, £3 for concessions (over 65 and under 18) and U12’s free when accompanied by an adult. As always, there will be free admission granted to the disabled and their carers”.
Last time out, England Deaf Men ran out victorious 3-0 against Germany at Telford in front of 1,000 spectators. The club aims to give these guys a proper Yorkshire welcome by improving on that attendance.
