Match Report
Sheffield FC VS North Ferriby
The villagers extended their unbeaten run to five games after claiming their fifth Northern Premier League East Division away win of 24/25 at the MEPS International Home of Football Stadium.
A well rounded performance saw the villagers climb to third place after well taken Josh Whiteley and Jack Walters goals made it fifteen points from eighteen on the road.
The hosts seemingly offered more of a threat as we began at the worlds oldest football club, however, Josh Whiteley looked dangerous down the left providing opportunities for himself and James Cadman.
The hosts continued to press with the villagers offering a stern resistance and the dead lock could have been broken for the Villagers after Whiteley shot directly at the keeper from six yards and Tilsey put an effort wide after latching on to a Dennett cannon.
It was a new half but an different story, Cadman, Dennison and Whiteley continued the charge for the villagers with the later coming close after six minutes of the restart.
The Sheffield defence were eventually broken down, ten minutes in to the half after Dennison played in a delightful ball from the right, finding Josh Whiteley who rippled the net with a low driven shot.
The villagers lead was soon extended shortly after the hour, James Cadman doing very well to keep play alive out right, finding Jack Walter with a diving header in the centre.
An all round team performance from the villagers ensured to deny the worlds oldest football club a way back in, securing the villagers fifth away win of the season.
