Match Report

North Ferriby VS Liversedge

North Ferriby FC fell to a second successive defeat as they were defeated 2-0 by Liversedge.

The West Yorkshire side left East Yorkshire with the three points, in a game played in gusty conditions. Chris Bolder gave a debit to former Hull City goalkeeper Harry Fisk. The Villagers created chances in the first half. Josh Whiteley came close, seeing his shot held by Jordan Porter. Danny Earl came close with a header at the front post, which just went over Porter's crossbar. Liversedge would take the lead through Kwame Boateng. The impressive right back driving from his own half before a one two with a teammate gave him the opportunity to shoot. The Villagers looked to get themselves back into the game and Danny Earl saw his attempt to draw level thwarted by a good save from Porter.

The visitors hit the Villagers with a killer blow just after the break. Jack Carr doubled his sides lead with a good finish. The Villagers were unable to really test the visitors and Liversedge controlled the rest of the game and produced chances to add more to their tally. The hosts did have a late penalty shout turned away after Harry Lovick went down in the penalty area.
