Liversedge VS North Ferriby

North Ferriby FC played out there first 0-0 draw since January 2020 at Liversedge.

Neither side were able to create a clear cut chance to gain the three points.

The opening fifthteen minutes of the game were cagey with both sides looking to make a headway into the game. The games first real chance fell to Josh Whiteley. A clever flick put Whiteley in behind and he saw his half volley strike saved at the near post. Liversedge captain Kurt Harris came closest for the hosts in the opening half as he volleyed over the bar.

The second half played out the same as the first, with neither side able to create chances. The Villagers had two penalty claims denied by referee Matthew Tyres. Danny Earl was brought down in the area and seconds later, Tom Corner went down after contact.

Josh Whiteley had an attempt from outside the area but his strike went over the bar. It was heart in the mouths time for the Villagers at the death. After clearing a free kick at the first attempt, a Liversedge attacker went down in the area. Luckily for the Villagers, the full time whistle was blown, causing uproar amongst the hosts.
