North Ferriby VS Hornsea Town


North Ferriby FC progress into the next round of the East Riding Senior cup with a club record 9-0 win over Hornsea Town. 

Bolder’s side were relentless as they bounced back from Saturday’s 5-0 to Ashington. 

The Villagers took the lead through Adam Bolder. The experienced midfielder finished smartly in the corner. 

The second came from Mccauley Snelgrove’s first for the club. Josh Dennett finding Snelgrove who had to just tap the ball in. 

It would be three before the interval. Tom Corner headed in from an Adam Bolder cross.

The Villagers proved to be ruthless in the second half. Amir Berchil made it four when he was found by Mccauley Snelgrove to cap off a good team move. 

On his 100th appearance, Josh Dennett added a fifth. A good save from Hornsea keeper Luke Cotton landed at Dennett’s feet to allow him to finish. 

Amir Berchil added a sixth and grabbed his second. A curling effort beat Luke Cotton. 

Mccauley Snelgrove was next to add his second of the game. Amir Berchil got behind the defence and found Snelgrove to tap in. 

Harry Wallis was at full stretch to meet a low cross from Josh Morrall to add a Ferriby eighth. 

The ninth goal came from Adam Bolder. Bolder curling an effort past Cotton.
