North Ferriby FC overcame Ossett United 3-1 at the Dransfield Stadium. Chris Bolder’s side had to come from behind to defeat their West Yorkshire opponents. Bolder made just one change from last weekend’s FA Trophy defeat, Amir Berchil replacing Harry Wallis.
The visitors would be the ones to open the scoring. Former Villager Tom Claisse delivered in a corner which was met by Alex Peterson, who headed home at the near post. The Villagers would level the scores just before the half hour mark. Danny Earl finished off a good team move, slotting past Darryl Ombang. The Villagers would take the lead in the second half. Josh Whiteley’s pace causing issue for the Ossett defence. Whiteley played the ball to Corner who finished Ombang. The Villagers would add a third when Ombang dropped a Ferriby cross and gave Danny Earl the opportunity to add a third for his side and his second. Both sides would end the game with ten men. Amir Berchil seeing red for Ferriby and Harry Coates for Ossett.
