Chris Bolder’s side went into the interval with a 2-1 lead, courtesy of goals from Tom Corner and Niall Tilsley.

The hosts would level when Ross Hannah found space behind the defence to lift a shot over Tom Jackson.
The Villagers would take back their lead just before the interval. Josh Dennett launched a throw in into the area and up rose captain Niall Tilsley to thunder a header past Hill.

The scores would remain level for the rest of the game. Chris Bolder have plenty of his squad minutes in the legs.
After the game, Bolder shared his thoughts “it was another great workout for us against a strong Rossington side who play some brilliant football. In passages today, I thought we did some really nice things. As usual with pre-season there were elements of teething problems but ultimately, a really good work out for us”.
