It’s yet another midweek and Northern Premier League East Division affair as Chris Bolder’s North Ferriby FC return to the Dransfield Stadium as they host one of the six North-Eastern sides, Bishop Auckland.

Staking a claim as one of the leagues in form sides, the villagers are deserving of their rich vein in form and hosting twentieth placed Bishop Auckland sees the villagers return to home soil in search of a fifth win in six and extend their unbeaten run.

After moving across from the Northern League following the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign, Bishop Auckland have seemingly struggled so far, down in 20th in the league tablewith six points from ten games, and only one win in all competitions. Their opening game against Stocksbridge ended in a 3-2 defeat. Their only victory followed against fellow North-East outfit Ashington, and were then knocked out the FA Cup by the same team. Defeats to Carlton and Brighouse followed with a draw at Newton Aycliffe. Nantwich Town then halted Bishop Auckland’s FA Trophy ambitions, and they’ve only managed two points since then
