Preview Report:
Bradford (Park Avenue) FC VS North Ferriby
The Villagers are all set for a return to Northern Premier League East Division action as Chris Bolder’s side head to West Yorkshire for a highly anticipated fixture against Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.
The new season brings fresh hope as the Villagers aim to open their campaign well and push on from an eighth place finish last season, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. Having won successive promotion in 21/22 and 22:23, the villagers head in to this fixture hoping to regain a little of that momentum, and a third promotion in four seasons can’t be written off.
Following two consecutive relegations, Bradford Park Avenue will be determined to turn the tide this season, providing a tough opening day test for Chris Bolder’s side. However though, the Villagers have been made ready for the test having faced and held strong opposition in their pre-season campaign, seeing good minutes come against both Farsley Celtic and Guiseley AFC.
TEAM NEWS
With regards team selection, Chris Bolder heads in to the Northern Premier League East Division without the services of Louis Kirk and Danny Emerton who remain sidelined through long-term injury. Despite featuring for a short period in pre season, Danny East remain unavailable for selection due to injury.
