Preview Report:

North Ferriby VS Bridlington Town

North Ferriby FC take on Bridlington Town in the East Riding Senior Cup on Tuesday night. The Villagers will host the game at the Dransfield Stadium after a coin toss to decide the venue. Since reforming in 2019, The Villagers have not won the competition. Chris Bolder’s side come into the game full of confidence, after their 1-0 win over Sheffield FC on Saturday. Amir Berchil’s second half strike meaning the Villagers end their home league campaign on a high. Chris Bolder shared his thoughts after the game, “it's great going into Tuesday night with three points, on the back of a good performance. Let’s focus on all the good things and I thought that the application, especially when we knew the play offs were out of reach, it can be easy to slip into holiday mode”.

Bridlington currently sit in 16th place in the Northern Premier Division One East. They come into the game off the back of a 2-1 home defeat to Ossett on Saturday.

In their league meetings this year, the home side took home the three points. On Boxing Day, the Villagers won 3-1. Earlier this month, Bridlington beat the Villagers 2-1. Bolder gave his thoughts ahead of Tuesday’s clash, “we’ll be desperate, same as they will be, to win the game of football. It’s important to us as a football club and to the lads to put right a disappointing result on Easter Monday”.

The Villagers will be without both Matty Dixon and Jack Walters who are cup tied after playing for Bridlington in the early rounds.
