Preview Report:
North Ferriby VS
Hull United
Trip To Roy West for Villagers in Semi Final
North Ferriby FC will head over to the Roy West Centre at Hull University on Tuesday to face Hull United in the Semi Final of the East Riding Senior Cup.
Ferriby come off the back of a 2-0 win against local rivals Hall Road Rangers, and manager Chris Bolder will have lots of decisions to make on who plays against John Duffill’s men. Tom Corner may be a doubt after limping off on Saturday, but the Ferriby manager will be conscious of trying to utilise his squad the best he can with a tough run of fixtures to come in the league, and the potential of meeting Hull City U23s in the final.
Hull United - in contrast - lost 2-0 at home to Beverley Town at the weekend, with injuries and suspensions a big factor for squad selection. They were able to pick up a much needed win the previous week against Sculcoates in the league, winning 2-1 with a resolute and dogged defensive display. They have been in good form over the last couple of months and will be keen to make the final themselves. They currently sit seventh in the Humber Premier League after 23 games.
Kick off is 7.30pm on Tuesday 10th March at the Roy West Centre, Inglemire Lane.
